If Gary Glitter turned into a robot Doctor Who baddie hell-bent on vengeance, ‘Ghosts’ would be his theme tune. But Ladytron got there first, so it’s OK to like it. Shot through with typically blank-eyed surliness, ‘Ghosts’ couldn’t be more icily atmospheric if it tried. It stomps and buzzes like a faulty Roomba, and makes us want to hide behind the sofa a bit. Immense.
