City

Lo-Fi-Fnk

They’ve been giving wimpy electro-indie boys a good name since 2006 and Stockholm’s Lo-Fi-Fnk duo continue their naïve melody grub-fest with ‘City’. If their past masterpiece ‘Change Channel’ was a bit like Kraftwerk being fed explosives, ‘City’ brings to mind Daft Punk taking off their robot helmets after much heeing and hawing, to reveal ripped gimp masks with traces of amyl nitrate pouring out of their gobs. So we guess the ‘City’ they’re singing about probably isn’t Coventry.
