It’s not an earth-stopping departure, but it is irresistible – not least because Peaches manages to make the banal phrase “I’ll give you a bus ride” over a noise like a giant robot cat spewing up sound like an invitation to some kind of all-night New Orleans dwarf sex coke rave. This just in: ‘Downtown’ is not actually about going downtown, but, y’know, going downtown. The minx.
