Make Model

The LSB

This is what you’d call an ‘odd cove’ were you a retired army colonel. Fundamentally, it’s questionable 1980s-style power pop that could have been sung by men sporting thin ties and thick-rimmed spectacles – indeed, attire often to be spotted on members of Make Model. The time signature is so jerky that you might end up with a Gordian Knot shaped spine should you try to dance to it. Aimi’s vocals on the choruses slip into a berserk falsetto without warning. It’s curiously rather good though, so we’ll forgive them the crap specs.

An average tune. Saw them supporting The Fratellis on tour. The LSB is one of their better songs, the best one in the set they did. Is it just me, or does one of the guitarists look like Miles Kane of the Rascals and Last Shadow Puppets. And also Aimi the singer reminds me of Paramore's Hayley Williams, in terms of eyeliner style and hair colour.

I think this is pretty average and kind of derivative. Also, the guy's voice is so forced. don't like this band at all.
