To The Sky

Another dose of super-floaty sky/high/fly/don’t-know-why dream-pop from Northampton’s foremost shoegazing exponents (and Mercury Prize nominees, thanks very much). In truth, this is best heard – sorry, ‘experienced’ – in the context of debut album ‘We Can Create’ rather than in isolation, but gorgeous it is all the same. Plus, in the video there’s a pretty girl wandering through a forest, and a meadow with, like, a big silver egg in it. We don’t really want to have to use the word ‘dreamy’ again, but Maps are kind of forcing us into a corner here. Well, maybe not forcing exactly…
