Lily Allen covering Kaiser Chiefs gets us as excited as an evening spent watching an Any Dream Will Do omnibus in the company of Nick Hodgson, but the fact it’s produced by so-called producer du jour Mark Ronson should be enough to pique our curiosity. Although seeing as this CD is full of remixes from the Emperor Machine (bleepy, tweaky), Busta Rhymes (bouncy, filthy), Kashmeer Brothers (echoey) and Chris Lake (exhausting), we don’t see why old Ronseal should get any credit.
