Martine McCutcheon : On The Radio
Martine McCutcheon continues to try and convince us she's a pop star and not just a dead barmaid. ...
Still smarting about that off
remark made by posh bint Kate Winslet something about lower-class scrubber roles, if you've
been away skiing Martine McCutcheon continues to try and convince us she's a pop star and
not just a dead barmaid. It's a highly calculated bid, too. If
a song has 'radio' in the title indeed, in the chorus it's
usually snapped up by radio, rotated, and bought by all
those weird sheep-people who
only ever buy 'hits' and stand outside the Big Brother house
on a Friday night, screaming
for Marjorie. What's even more disturbing than usual is that
this track is about Martine being moved to song by some fan mail that fell out of the pocket of a brown overcoat. It's true.
