Mia

Jimmy

She may have found it tough winning the hearts of the US immigration authorities, but like everyone else should do, they eventually came round to her weird, genre-pasting charms. Musically or personality-wise, there really is no-one else like this woman, and ‘Jimmy’ is another stupendously odd number from the terrorist-gened Elastica cohort – this time a classic Bollywood theme, pumped through some new-rave tubing and smothered with her seductively mystic tongue. In the video, she’s got about 22 arms, but that could be the psychedelic aceness of the song making our eyes go screwy.
