Morcheeba : World Looking In

Apparently, the limpid twang of 'World Looking In' not only "confirms Morcheeba's status as one of the most innovative British bands around" it's also "familiar as the soundtrack to the current Ford Mondeo ads". Really, the band would have to line up with prize-winning pumpkins on their heads to offer an easier target. Yet the most curious thing about this record is that the peaceful yoga-in-birthing-pool vibes of Morcheeba should be used to sell motorised environmental death, instead of alfalfa sprouts. Another glass of wheatgrass juice? With a shot of echinacea and cyanide, please.
