Lazy mid-tempo funk beats with the occasional horn stabs and dreamy Fender Rhodes make the ingredients for DJ Spinna's head-nodding soundtrack for the diverse word-juggler Mos Def to meander over.
Lyrically this is a finely-crafted, dynamic, tale-telling rap, cleverly jumping melodics in a Jamerican flow. But the track lacks real bite with no big chorus or sample hook, making it a little bland, far from the album 'Black On Both Sides' which kicks like a mule.
