What with Britney collaborating with the Neptunes, Five's dignified demise and this sepia-toned effort, pop's going a bit tasteful - which isn't the point, really. But then again, you have got a Backstreet Boy straight outta rehab and Shane from Boyzone going out with Tara Palmer-Tompkinson, so all is not lost. All that we need is the unearthing of Britney and Justin's stolen home video (it features 'intimate scenes' of the pair 'playing frisbee', hem hem) and the release of Britney's cover of 'I Love Rock 'n' Roll' for normal, trashy service to be be resumed just in time for 2002. Hurrah!
