Frankly, most lily-livered indie hacks would sooner audition for the role of Nancy on I’d Do Anything than dare piss on the chips of these incomparably ace princelings of darkness. But fuck it, here goes: as brilliant as ‘Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!!’ is – and how could a sex/death/hell record by this grizzled half-centurion and his cohorts not be? – this, its second single and brooding closer, sounds frustratingly stunted here cut down to half its original length. Totally ignorable stuff then – as ultimately pointless as Mr Cave’s very own Super Mario-style moustache.
