Nickelback : Never Again

A review from beyond the grave

Nickelback : Never Again

The late, great American comedian Bill Hicks - the dark avenging angel of stand-up, dead at 32 from pancreatic cancer - once snarled "We live in a world where John Lennon was murdered yet Barry Manilow continues to put out fucking albums. If you’re going to kill someone, have some fuckin’ taste. I’ll drive you to Kenny Rogers’ house. Get in the car. I know where Wham live!"

Substitute Kurt Cobain for John Lennon and Chad Kroeger for everyone else and you have a spot on assessment of Nickelback’s cultural worth (not to mention another conspiracy theory for Nick Broomfield to turn into a documentary). There you go lads. A review from beyond the grave. Thanks for helping out, Bill.
