Shockwaves NME Awards Show: Larrikin Love, KOKO; Mon Feb 12

The Awards shows are go go go!

Larrikin Love
Night one of the Shockwaves NME Awards Shows, and who else to kick things off than Thamesbeat tearaways Larrikin Love? Dressed in Super Furry Animals-esque silver costumes, their fiddle-driven country ska stomps send the crowd delirious, especially as string-laden belter ‘Annie’ fills KOKO’s cavernous hall. Tiny Dancers, who earlier soaked the crowd with a bucket of sun drenched pop jangles, joined in the knee-raising shenanigans during closer 'Silver'. Here’s to the next 23 shows.
