Dempsey : ODB On The Run/Buzz

Courtney Taylor, were he awake, would be impressed...

Having trekked via Texas, California and London to be here with us today, Geoff McIntire

(aka Dempsey) clearly isn't someone afraid to travel in pursuit

of that elusive NME single review.

Eels, with bluesy noodling, is

the dish of the day. The A-side is a warped homage to the Wu Tang Clan's Ol'

Dirty Bastard, whilst 'Buzz' is stronger still, adding

a lo-fi sleaze to a blurred Dandy Warhols-esque melody.

Courtney Taylor, were he awake, would be impressed.
