OutKast : Land Of A Million Drums

From the soundtrack to the upcoming, Buffy-starring 'Scooby Doo' movie, Outkast deliver a single which is eccentric even by their standards. Sounding a bit like their own 'Ms Jackson' delivered over a hectic jazz beat reminiscent of 'Love Cats' by
Cure, it crams in mention of Scrappy, Thelma, Shaggy and Daphne, ending with a cry of "I wouldn't have got away with it if it wasn't for you meddlin' kids". All right, proper and (mildly) funny, but not exactly their finest hour. In fact, it's a bit reminiscent of the mid-90s incident in which B-52's did the theme to 'The Flintstones', shortly prior to hurtling down the dumper.
