Paramore

Misery Business

Perhaps this is a bit of a controversial single for the Tennessean Christian pop-punkers because, unlike their other hits ‘Jesus Rules’ and ‘I Like The Bible Quite A Lot’, ‘Misery Business’ takes God’s name in vain. Not that this stops ‘Misery Business’ from sounding like the music you’d hear on an PS3 game about parkour or go-karting or whatever you kids like these days. But with a sold-out tour and a Grammy nomination, who are we to stand in Paramore’s way? Especially with the Grammy – that actually makes Paramore officially as good as The Muppets

With singer Hayley William's bright orange hair, Paramore are instantly recognisable these days. And so is 'Misery Business', with its catchy guitar riffs and poppy lyrics. Guaranteed to get you moving whenever you hear it!

They, because of Hayley's forever changinging hair-colour, are noticed and recognised throughout the 'world' of pop-rock.

Amazing in a club when it comes on, amazing in to turn right up in your car (it has fantastic bass). Generally, just a top class song.

The tune is bollocks. The singer is about as attractive as a park bench in winter. The video is too American to relate to. Who cares about this kind of nonsense?

Are this lot really a christian rock/pop band? That's fucking hilarious if they are.

buying Riot was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I listen the acoustic version of Hallelujah & MisBiz sometimes online but otherwise, think Halley's a cute waif destined for solo work soon & Paramore is another throw-away Warptour band...

Well, its undeniable that, whether you hate or love them, Paramore certainly cause a stir, shown quite clearly by the fact that Misery Business has caused more reviews than any other song! The reason i like this song is because it hits you hard with a very catchy riff and its subject matter (one of a girl hated for being a general bitch) is one which i think around 99% of girls can relate with! Dont knock them until you've got a sell out tour!

The voice of Hayley matches perfectly the pop/punk vibe of that young band.Definitely gonna be big.
