Pink : Just Like A Pill
Fun to start with but soon leading to spots, greasy hair, dead babies and a life of petty crime
Here at NME we are still reeling from the shock of seeing Christine A-ging-gang-goolie-wotsit whip out a marf-organ and "do" Bob Dylan on TOTP. So let's salve our shattered nerves with the return of the hot'n'throbbing, bottle-lobbing, Britney-slagging and quite possibly ever-so-slightly bi-sexual Princess of Pop - Pink! If she were a penised Manc smackie she'd be an indie idol. But she's not, so the nit-picking nay-sayers dis her sickening lurch into angst-ridden autobiography. Pish! Sheer sexism! This is the third best track off her killer last album. It’s about chaps being like smack. Fun to start with but soon leading to spots, greasy hair, dead babies and a life of petty crime. How very true.
