Our very own Rachel Stamp, however, can't hold out for quite as long, morphing abruptly into anguished caterwauling after a paltry one minute, having rather cleverly lulled us into a false sense of security by starting off with a Gilbert O'Sullivan-esque piano and voice passage. They start quiet and then very suddenly go loud. Where do they get these crazy ideas from?
Sadly, they get them from listening to the likes of Marilyn Manson, Jane's Addiction and (may the good Lord forgive us our sins) Rage Against The Machine.
The Stamp are, like Panda Pops and Cresta were once to Coca-Cola, an inferior ersatz Anglican version of an established international product.
