Razorlight

Wire To Wire

As understated as a state funeral and only slightly more fun, Razorlight’s return should seemingly be accompanied by the silhouette of Borrell at Meat Loaf’s piano as lyrics such as “she lives on dissolution row” cascade from his mouth with anvil-heavy earnestness. Not the kind of song you’d expect a man who sleeps on a huge motorcycle in leathers to make.

Well it certainly wasn't what I was expecting after "In The Morning" but it's very different and I think it will be a good album, a purchase for sure :)

It sounds exactly like iggy pop's "passenger", but a bit slower. You can sing the words over the top. Well done Borrell you were right, you are a genius. You win again.

Its really not razorlight, they should stick to their old style.

Once again, despite my best instincts, I really like a new Razorlight song. There is enough development here too for people to acknowledge they are still interesting.
