Enter Shikari have revealed that they will begin work on their next album towards the end of 2013 after spending the first half of the year touring. "We won't have anything released next year but we'll definitely have been in the studio," bass player Chris Batten told Gigwise.
Metallica are currently in the studio working on new songs and are planning to release the follow up to their last album 'Death Magnetic' in 2014. Drummer Lars Ulrich told Metal Hammer the new material is sounding "heavy", "energetic" and "crazy".
Garbage say writing sessions have moved quickly for their next record over the last year and they're planning to head into the studio in the New Year. Singer Shirley Manson told Rolling Stone"we don't even need to think in terms of an album, so we're just thinking in terms of new music".
The Gaslight Anthem are already working on ideas for their fifth LP inspired by Pearl Jam, according to frontman Brian Fallon. He told Rolling Stone: "I want to do the 'No Code' record [Pearl Jam's fourth album], that one. They did these three rock records, and [then] they all of a sudden went left turn."
