Having already provided two classic hymns to sisterhood solidarity in ‘SOS’ and ‘Umbrella’ (you might possibly have heard that one), Rihanna ups the stakes with ‘Take A Bow’. “You’re so ugly when you cry/Please, just cut it out”, she intones heartlessly to another feckless ex over flamenco guitars and fluttering beats. It may not get many plays round at Late Of The Pier’s place, but surely a million MySpace friends can’t be wrong.
