Of all the subjects in the pop pantheon, that of being dumped by a girl and not really understanding why is probably the most richly mined vein of them all. And while the floppy-fringed SFGs’ tale of dumpage is not exactly ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’, it is lusty, galloping indie pop with some pleasing oomph and rage in the vocals. Get back with him, you nasty girl.
