Scouting For Girls: 'Scouting For Girls'

'The sort of tunes that just make you wanna dance and sing along. If you’re an idiot'

Like Athlete if they were idiots, or The Fray if they were British and idiots, Scouting For Girls arrive with a trove of songs about love and childhood. On record, puerile fantasies about wanting to be James Bond are stapled to a musically ‘upbeat’ backing. You know… the sort of tunes that just make you wanna dance and sing along. If you’re an idiot.

Scouting for girls
You cant go wrong, i found them about 2 months before they got signed, and now only 9 months down line they are getting played on radio 1 and have been in the charts for weeks. And that is not only for 1song.
I have getting my friends liking them and i have been able to play them in my own radio show.
I am hoping for a interview of my own, i love them i think you should like them to!!!

ok, so 'she's so lovely' might occasionally make me want to stick something very sharp in my eyeball and start gouging, but they do have some good songs - first single 'it's not about you' should get a mention, and also they're BRILLIANT LIVE. Trust me.

It's patchy, yes, but not as bad as you make out NME!

This has to be one of my favourite albums of 2007 - catchy lyrics, in-your-head-like-Superglue tunes and general "tweeness", what more do you need from a London-based indie pop trio who sound like The Feeling with the lyrical style of Blur? Nothing! Stand-out tracks include: 'Keep On Walking', 'She's So Lovely', 'Elvis Isn't Dead', 'I'm Not Over You' (which is my personal favourite) and 'James Bond'. In one word this album is AMAZING!
