2 / 10 Though Sid’s life and death are well documented, his solo performances aren’t – and there’s a reason for that. As this double live CD proves, he wasn’t a naturally gifted musician; covers of Stooges and Ramones numbers shouldn’t sound this flat, nor should a song called ‘Belsen Was A Gas’ exist. Like Sid’s unfortunate demise, it’s a wretched, unnecessary mess.
