Aimed at those who use Christmas for moping about rather than pulling crackers and gorging on cheese, ‘…Christmas TV’ is a sob-inducingly pretty acoustic love song in which twinges of country’n’western float behind heart-meltingly twee vocals. And all this despite having the air of a Billy Bragg song played at a lunchtime school recital by the
weird kids who chewed the sleeves of their jumpers.
