Soft Cell : The Night
...the band's slightly menacing bedsit electro has evidently received a painful chest wax...
A return for familiar territory for the Fischerspooner[/url] of the 1980s as Soft Cell seek to find love, as they did with 'Tainted Love', in a relationship with a Northern Soul classic.
A fair effort, certainly, but in the intervening years the band's slightly menacing bedsit electro has evidently received a painful chest wax, and been polished into a rather bland disco. Interestingly, this makes them sound a bit likePulp, but for their audience of superannuated fetishists, you've got to wonder if that will quite suffice.
