By now you should already own and cherish these Canadians’ beautiful fourth album ‘In Our Bedroom After The War’, from which this is the second single culled. A sweeping, romantic, lovely alterno-pop gem (and certainly the equal of any of the other sweeping, romantic, lovely alterno-pop gems contained within that record) it may be, but you have to wonder: just what is the point of singles like this? If it ever comes, their “crossover” will be thanks to album sales and not three-minute bursts. Do yourselves a favour: save up some more pennies, get the friggin’ album.
