Run-Away

Super Furry Animals
It is Welsh indie lore that Gruff Rhys can do whatever he wants. And if Gruff Rhys wants to take his Super Furry Animals and make a swooshing northern soul record with stunning Phil Spector-style soundclashes at the beginning, then so be it. ‘Run-Away’ is the type of record that makes you want to charge into a disco and line all the girls up against one wall, all the boys against the other. Then, make sure they politely ask each other to dance before they waltz around the floor surreptitiously rubbing up against each other while making sure their chaperones can’t see. Perfect.
