Talib Kweli & Hi Tek feat. TY and Black Twang : Down For The Count

Second single from the brilliant 'Reflection Eternal' album...

Yes, you read that right: Talib Kweli and Hi Tek's 'Down For The Count' features two of UK rap's contingent on this second release from the album 'Reflection Eternal': TY, whose album 'Awkward' is presently being well received on the UK rap scene, and Blak Twang, best remembered for the classic joint 'Real Estate' and his collaboration with various UK artists.

The single shows that Talib Kweli is even stronger as a solo act. Although brought in through his partnership with Mos Def on the Blackstar project, his album and now the singles most definitely demonstrate his mad skills and on point production.

The fat flow of 'Down For The Count' is unique and hard to confuse with any other happening rap tracks currently doing the rounds.

It's released 04/05/01 and be ready because it's a limited edition! You've been warned.
