Like Modest Mouse, TAIS are an American college-rock band who have been kicking around for years, sustained largely by the misguided adulation of people who think getting a MySpace friend request from a girl counts as a shag. This banal bid for pop glory would sound cute if sung by Elmo on Sesame Street, but from the lips of 36-year-old beardy-baldy singer Rob Schneider it’s just creepy.
