When a band names itself after a poem (not a song, a poem) by Captain Beefheart, we demand they produce something highly original, completely experimental and also mind-blowingly good. Ironically ‘Tell Your Friends’ sounds less like a lost ‘Trout Mask Replica’ outtake and more like ‘Revolver’-era Beatles covering The Beach Boys’ ‘God Only Knows’. Still, that’s pretty impressive in itself.
