Who’s Gonna Find Me

Do we reward The Coral for continuing to plough the same thankless furrow or do we damn them for the same? We reward them, of course, as long as they keep coming up with uncomplicated, understatedly affecting beat-pop like most of the rest to be found in said furrow. There’s nothing here that will shake the walls of Poptown down, but there are some lovely changes of key, some excellent guitar-wanking, and James Skelly is starting to take on the authoritative tones of a rock dinosaur even though he’s probably still only about 12 years old. It says 26 here, but that can’t be right.
