The Wrath Of Marcie

Putting the word ‘wrath’ in the title isn’t going to make this any more edgy than the usual G!T output, as the third single from this year’s ‘Proof Of Youth’ album is everything you know and love from the Team. It starts like a teatime TV show, packs in glockenspiels, horns, sweet choruses, big drums and rap-lites about “fiascos” and should have you doing the semaphore strut in no time. It’s as impeccable as their previous singles, even if there is a whiff of S Club 7 about it. And we’re not sure who Marcie is, but if this is the sound of her wrath she must be as scary as being mugged by Tiny Masters Of Today.

"A Whiff of S Club 7"
What on earth!?!

No mention of the glorious recorders! Shame that.
More like a whiff of the kurikorder quartet.
