If a cyborg ever came knocking on erstwhile Bright Eyes collaborator Tim Kasher’s Omaha door, his only question would be “Where’s Conor?”. Why take The Good Life’s shuffling folk tales when you’ve got Mr Oberst’s pain? Kasher wrote this as the soundtrack to his screenplay, but on this evidence it could debut on The Hallmark Channel.
