Who needs Live Earth? Back on Planet Indie, news seeps through that The Holloways will be touring seaside resorts this summer in a double-decker bus, all in aid of Friends Of The Earth. “Sometimes you get so low/You don’t know why”, sings Alfie on ‘Generator’ the 2007 version, over a riff more wriggly than Jack Peñate with a scorpion down his trousers. So what if it’s a re-release? It’s still their finest moment to date. Fares please!
