Who ever told Brandon Flowers to start aping The Boss had their heart well and truly in the right place, but did they know it would come to this in the end? Depending on how you look at it, this tune is either utterly amazing, or an embarrassing piece of cliché-ridden pomp-pop that makes the music of Freddie Mercury seem understated. Luckily for The Killers we’ve chosen to see it the first way. Phew.
