Bold move to cover one of the best dance records ever but The Longcut pull it off in a very college indie way. They could have raised the “excitement” knob on the mixing desk though. The A-side is vintage Longcut. Sounds like Guy from Fugazi’s brother doing vocals for The Rapture. It reminds us of people who leave their jeans too long so that they drag in the mud and get all frayed.
