The Rascals

Out Of Dreams

While Milburn and The Rev have spent far too long riding in Alex Turner’s success sidecar, Miles Kane – formerly of Scouse macabre clan Little Flames and current Monkeys collaborator – doesn’t appear to need to surf anyone’s slipstream. ‘Out Of Dreams’ thunders along with the urgency of local mates The Coral (before they started scoring films instead of weed) sewn to the dead-eyed post-mortem pop of Sons And Daughters, while Kane howls like a man who believes Halloween’s every week. There’s almost a chance we’ll take Kane’s dreams over Turner’s nightmares.
