Don’t get us wrong, we like The Whip – ‘Trash’ was an ace dancefloor cerebrum-crusher – but this tune builds up from slinky synths bouncing down the stairs of electro’s porch, picking up processed beats, patched bass-loops and Human League echoes in such an obvious fashion you can see the guy sitting there in front of a computer screen building it on Logic. The Crystal Castles mix, as usual, redeems.
