The Illness

Very angular and impressive and Editors-esque though this is, what it’s not, one would argue, is particularly good. It’s certainly not up to the standard of ‘Turn It Back’ or the wondrous ‘Leni’. It does seem that we are so swamped with this kind of slightly off-kilter, ever so busy, intelligent British rock at the moment that you’ve practically got to include a middle-eight where the band down instruments and fornicate just to stand out from the crowd.
