It would only rock anyone's world if it came attached to a nuclear bomb.
Six minutes long and, as aimless as its title implies, ‘Paint The Silence’ is hard to get exercised about one way or the other. It’s just there; wistful, melancholic, nice sleeve etc – but it would only rock anyone’s world if it came attached to a nuclear bomb. An UNKLE mix tries to graft on a bit of dance drama, but inevitably fizzles out on contact with South’s drippy balladeering. Not everything has to be loud’n’lairy, but this is so self-effacing it might as well never have existed in the first place.
