Having already rivalled American rappers at their own game, Mark B & Blade have roped in Feeder man Grant Nicholas to prove that rap-metal isn’t beyond their grasp either. A recipe for disaster, you would think, but the combination actually works well, and is certainly more dynamic than both Nicholas’ sludgy grunge-lite and the MTV misogyny that seems so unaccountably popular on the other side of the pond. Indeed, next to this powerhouse assault, the more delicate original sounds a little, well, thin. You’re better off downing your cider, donning your leathers and heading down to the student disco to rock out to Nicholas’ interpretation.
