Pete And The Pirates

Like Larrikin Love before them, Pete And The Pirates give off the faint stench of unwashed folksters up for a jig. It’s a pong which goes hand in hand with the unfettered worry that, were they around 15 years ago, they’d have been sporting tie-dyed Levellers T-shirts, dragging dogs on strings and be living in a commune in Clapton. However, seeing as no-one in the entire universe is quite ready for the nu-crusty movement, we’ll put these deranged thoughts to the back of our minds, and instead focus on the fact that ‘Knots’ is an amusing hop, skip and a jump through all things jaunty and lush.
