Burn My Shadow

When a track starts off sounding like ‘Faith’ by George Michael, you know you aren’t in for the most exciting, life-affirming four minutes of your life. Not even the weary vocal drawl of The Cult’s Ian Astbury could save this track from the oily depths of been there, done that. ‘Burn My Shadow’ is the sound of a once-great duo losing all form of creativity. Let’s hope the album is better. Well, you gotta have faith.
