Cascada - 'It's Christmas Time'
Cascada want to cuddle up to you so hard you puke tinsel
1 / 10
German Eurodance heroes Cascada are as reliable as anyone at making flesh-stripping assault-pop. It’s curious, therefore, that now Christmas is here they want to cuddle up to you so hard you puke tinsel. Surely Cascada can be depended upon to do away with festive sentimentality and make everyone dance shirtless while hopped up on 34 litres of Jägermeister? But no: Natalie Horler, DJ Manian and Yann Peifer have got serious. There’s no ‘Mistletoe And Poppers’, just dreck like ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ and ‘Silent Night’. They even keep manage to keep a straight face while singing a Coors-esque ‘Away In A Manger’. Cascada just killed Christmas.
