We Are Scientists: It’s A Hit

Currently tearing the UK a new arsehole using only the power of prickly art-punk and some disturbing facial hair (when did looking like a ’70s serial killer get so cool?), We Are Scientists attempt to replicate the commercial success of their NME Awards Tour-mates with this rumbling, anthemic ode to being clattered by your missus. Well, that was my take on it, anyway. Either way, because this writer is of the opinion that they’re the best band on this year’s tour (heresy, I know), and because its spiky (and slightly emo) melody will burrow its way into your brain like a squirrel preparing for the winter, stop buying Arctic Monkeys albums for a minute
