Westlife : What Makes A Flan
Bake for 15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 350 degrees, and bake for another 30 minutes...
One 8-inch pie shell
Half a small onion, chopped
Eight ounces cream cheese
1/4 pound grated Swiss cheese
Five large eggs
One cup milk
Meat of choice (sausage, bacon, ham) - enough to cover the bottom in a single layer.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Saute onion in butter until transparent (or use a sprinkling of minced dried onion). Cover the bottom of the pie crust with the cream cheese, and cut into small pieces. Add the meat and onion and top with the grated Swiss cheese. Mix together the milk and eggs and pour over the top. Bake for 15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 350 degrees, and bake for another 30 minutes.
