If this correspondent appeared on prime time Saturday night television every week for three months armpit-farting ‘Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter’, it’d get to Number One.
Still, the public get what the public are conned into thinking they want, and at least Will Young is amusing as a kind of fast forward summary of a pop career: biggest selling debut UK single ever, forced out of closet by tabloids, second single goes down like Fat Rick in a microlite, 'Will: My Last Desperate Stab At Keeping You Interested' axed from ITV2, new job as branch manager of Colchester Netto, and all before the start of [I]'Pop Idol 2(I).
That sound, incidentally, is Jim Morrison puking in heaven at his seductive sex perv anthem being done like Jamiroquaigargling.
