“What does it sound like? Not much like anything you’ve heard from us before,” they teased back in November. And we pined. And we ached. Trusting us to want better than more of the same, and inspired by Karen’s epiphany that nothing surpasses “dancing like your life depends on it”, this sex-disco reincarnation is ‘I Feel Love’ divided by ‘Cars’ times ‘Heart Of Glass’ minus guitars plus synths to the power of wow. “Shake it like a ladder to the sun... can you climb, climb, climb, high up?” challenges Karen O. We don’t know, but we’re sure as hell going to try and find out. On NME Radio now
